Creating a Sector: The World of Curicosa

Click on the image above or here to view.
Curicosa, once a moderately civilized world fallen to barely above feudal status, harbors many dark secrets beneath the vein of Imperial trappings. Outside the gates of Halon degenerate tribes eek out their existence against the cold and temperamental weather of the world while the Occoviria of the City-State plot their inevitable destruction. Local auguries have predicted the two great leaders of the opposed peoples will meet, and in that meeting, decide the fate of their world when the 'hammer strikes'.
This planetary settings evokes the classical civilized versus savage diaspora. Gamemasters can tailor the factions as they see fit - Carydas Bellum could be the corrupter, bastardizing the Imperial Creed into something dark and venomous, or she could be the exemplar of the lights return. Ahina the Beast Queen, likewise, can be used as the noble-savage, leading her people only in retaliation and protection of their families. Or perhaps it she who has been claimed by the wisps of the warp, promising ever greater and glorious battles.

The Aelys Sector Synopsis

The Aelys Sector, seated in the Segmentum Solar, is home to a myriad of unique worlds currently being created and expanded. While within the confines of Solar proper, it rests close to the borders of Segmentum Obscuras and has long existed as a trade route. Heavy industrial activity has seen a great swath of worlds mined to obscurity by the sector forgeworlds, most famous of all being the Glassworlds Subsector (including Auros-II, Alactra, and Veridus).
Most famous and known by the Navis Nobilite for being the convergence nexus of the Imperio-Prognostician Leyline, the sector is coveted for it's multiple stable warp routes and relative lack of intrusive warp activity.

Fynswyld is a world set in the Quadis Expanse (shown previously in the Price of Honor: The Quadis Expanse supplement).

Creating a Sector: The World of Alactra

The second world in the Aelys Sector (an as of yet undisclosed work in progress), Alactra is one of three worlds within the Glassworld's Subsector. A desert world where water has replaced the currency and symbols of wealth, the world's status as a leading provider of intricate star ship components and glass works has lead to very strict and harsh Imperial rule. Prejudice of the slightest fault is more than enough to warrant planetary enforcer presence - all in the name of productivity and faultless operations.

Sonnenrad: The World of Carcossa

Click on the image above or here to view.
A synopsis on the home world of the dread entity known only as Sonnenrad - Carcossa, and the Circus Malifica. Governed by the natural order of Chaos where might makes right, this world is a tantalizing setting for Black Crusade adventures.

Rogue Trader: The Price of Honor Primer is the introduction to the new setting of the Quadis Expanse. Set in the historical period in the years after the Angevin Crusade, this primer forms the basis of my home-brew setting to set future games in and was created for sand-box adventures.

Incoming: Blood Furnace of Amaybeth

Blood Furnace of Amaybeth
A Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 Campaign by Messiahcide

Amaybeth is deified. The seven districts tell tales of him. Few know the truth. He was mortal once. However, his contempt for humanity drove him to create the undying legion. The world heaved and trembled at his command until all fell under his shadows grasp. Now, two millennium later the Festival of Tattered Fates draws near. Amaybeth's blood lords look forward to the unmissable event, and is shunned by all others. Known gloriously as the Grand Carnival of Blood or the Passing of the Black Star, it is a now legendary celebration that occurs erratically upon the whim of Amaybeth every five or six decades when the stars are right. The sun of the world always is blotted by a prolonged eclipsed. Slaves from the seven districts arrive at the promenade of arenas to compete for their patrons pleasure, their spilt blood fated to serve as auguries for the cruel lord-anthropomancers.
The tentative map as of April 30th

Yet, a young child destined for the infamous blood furnace has defied her fate. During the blood moon of the Cycle of the Lamented King, There would be only one possible outcome for her- eternal damnation. Each offering to the Festival were divinely marked, and no substitutions would do; and so, the Lifeseekers have been sent to rein in the bleeder before she could escape into the S'varan territories and spread fear and hysteria among the common dead.

Blood Furnace of Amaybeth is a Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 campaign I am currently developing. It will be a world where the undead live idyllic lives in their glominious kingdom. Most are not aware of the travesties being performed on the living. In fact, most believe 'bleeders' to be a myth to scare the flesh gholams and abominations. Stay tuned for more!
